JB300 Profonde
Matter as Memory
The case of the JB300 Profonde Titanium bears the marks of its creation process. Its "stonewashed" finish required seven successive iterations before achieving the right balance between material, shade, and resistance.
Each case underwent successive bead blasting treatment, without polishing. This process creates a matte, non-uniform, low-reflectivity surface. The advantages: significantly mitigate micro-shocks and give the titanium a weathered, raw, almost mineral appearance.
Here, the texture and shades of the titanium acquire the patina of a tool — neither shiny nor entirely matte — reminiscent of steel hulls marked by years and the sea. This aesthetic choice is also technical: it reduces micro-scratches and moderates reflectivity during immersion. This is a mission watch, not an exhibition piece.
Designed in the water
The idea for this collaboration was born underwater. During a joint dive off San Francisco in 2025, Simo Tber and Brock Stevens — a U.S. Navy diver — discussed what a useful and uncompromising diving watch should be. Brock was already wearing a JB300 Diver Black that he had been using for several months in real conditions.
In the silence and under pressure, the two men compared their instincts: one, rooted in the French school of utilitarian watches; the other, trained in American tactical rigor. From this shared immersion came the conviction that a deep-sea watch is not designed only on a drawing board, but also (and especially) in the water, with those who use it.
"You don't impose a watch on the sea, you put it to the test. The Profonde was born there, in its element, with clear needs and simple answers." — Simo Tber
When experience forges precision
A combination of skills and demands. This is, in two words, the specifications imagined by Deepsea.EDC and Brock Stevens: immediate legibility, reliability, contained mass, shock and corrosion resistance, easy handling with gloves, and differentiated luminous markers.
JBM translates these constraints into a homogeneous object, manufactured locally, designed for real-world use and built to last. "A mission watch should disappear on the wrist... until the moment you need it. The Profonde is exactly that: simple, legible, and unyielding." — Brock Stevens
Differentiated reading: blue for time, green for dive
The JB300 Profonde introduces a dual-lume dial, designed for visual priority during dives. The main indices emit a blue light; the minute hand and bezel pearl emit a green light.
Underwater, the eye will instinctively seek out the differentiating color — green, for the elapsed dive time. The yellow 24-hour scale on the inner flange, a tribute to the Kirby Morgan KM-37 diving helmets used by Navy divers, adds a second reading without cluttering the main dial.

Super-Luminova®: Heritage illuminates the JB300
Since our beginnings, visibility has been one of Jacques Bianchi Marseille's hallmarks. The JB300 transcends darkness to offer unparalleled readability, thanks to the meticulous application of Super-Luminova® on the "Maxi Dial" indexes and hands. This luminescent coating ensures perfect clarity, even in abyssal depths, guaranteeing optimal readability.
The clean, functional matte black dial minimizes reflections, while the light emitted by the luminous elements guides each dive with precision. A true alliance between technical performance and refined aesthetics, making the JB300 an exceptional watch, designed to illuminate your underwater exploration.

A home built to serve
Jacques Bianchi Marseille embodies a culture of function and issuance: operational simplicity, proven materials, legible architecture, a sense of service. The JB300 Profonde extends this approach: absolute priority to useful time readability, tactile markers, and overall robustness.
The company maintains a living connection with special units. In keeping with its roots in military issuance and its exchanges with the field, JBM maintains a constant dialogue with engagement professionals — divers as well as onboard personnel. The company recently collaborated with the French Foreign Legion around shared values: discipline, transmission, endurance, primacy of mission. The JB300 Profonde is part of this continuum — a loyal tool designed to be worn, understood, and repaired.
