Relaunched in 2021 by three passionate collectors, Jacques Bianchi Marseille stands out as one of the few watchmaking houses to discreetly perpetuate its military past. This bold continuity is no accident. It subtly marks a technical heritage based on function, precision, and uncompromising design. Born from instruments designed for those operating beyond the visible, the house today reaffirms its place by developing reinterpreted pieces for a new era, new enthusiasts... without losing an ounce of its historical identity. Today, this same demanding standard returns with strength and determination. Proudly manufactured in Marseille, France, each watch carries a language of function, style, and silent authority. A Jacques Bianchi Marseille watch is true to its origins, resolutely anchored in the present, designed to last beyond generations.
Designed for real use, our watches draw their identity from a military history spanning the 1980s and 1990s. The case of the JB200 - initially developed for the French Navy's diving units - proved its worth underwater, in the most demanding conditions. The JB300, direct heir to the 1990s issue watches for French Army divers, extends this legacy with a contemporary execution of its original profile. Robustness, legibility, ergonomics. These three words fully summarize a decade of commitment that continues to guide each of the brand's creations.
Assembled in Marseille, just a few meters from the famous Old Port, each watch signed Jacques Bianchi Marseille embodies a strong commitment to local production and uncompromising watchmaking. The local connection between the creative studio and the watchmaking workshops allows the company to confidently control every step of the manufacturing process: prototyping, quality control, finishing, and after-sales service. Jacques Bianchi Marseille does not outsource the essential but manufactures where designers and watchmakers live, close to the sea which is everywhere here – in the horizon, the vocabulary, and the graphic grammar of JBM watches.
“Since its revival, Jacques Bianchi Marseille has actively supported iconic institutions and individuals in the Mediterranean basin, including the Underwater Museum of Marseille, the Cercle des Nageurs de Marseille (Marseille Swimmers' Club), the Marégraphe Marseille (Marseille Tidal Observatory), and Olympic athlete Clément Secchi, who won a bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Partnership, a modern version of cultural blending, is at the heart of Jacques Bianchi Marseille's Mediterranean soul. The house has always been guided by a commitment to local craftsmanship, cultural collaborations, and a strong collective spirit. True to this vision, the house continues its development with clarity and determination. Jacques Bianchi Marseille is paving the way to shape its bright future.” — Simo Tber, co-founder of Jacques Bianchi Marseille
